After playing a role of industrial research and planning at Mitsubishi Corporation and Mitsubishi Research Institute, Mikio Hidaka held a role of Managing Director of subsidiary companies of Mitsubishi Corporation, Inter-Active Inc., and B-Incubation Japan (TechnoAssociates, Inc. at present). While working at those companies, he managed a lot of consulting service project and he initiated “Web Paddock Project,” which is novel platform for business incubation, as well. Those of works have innovated the methods of producing and developing venture business and local resources.
After returning to Mitsubishi Corporation, before initiating his own company, he was involved with various promoting and developing project of Mitsubishi Corporation as his post of Corporate Strategy & Research Dept. and was also a Fellow of AlixPartners Asia LLC, an US-based professional firm of corporate turnaround service, afterwards. Through the work in these companies, he has engaged development planning, management, and supporting execution from the actual field in the wide area of business. In addition, he has focused on founding and managing platforms for creating environment of initiating business for companies and regional areas.
Since September, 2012, he has been a Senior Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Deals Advisory Inc.
